T-shirts
T-shirts picks, all in one place: who this category suits, what to double-check before ordering, which part of the QC photos deserves a close look, and the trap newcomers fall for most. Read this page first, then shortlist with confidence.
T-shirts · Quick checks
Good for: Composition stated, collar and hem photographed up close.
Confirm: Composition and weight, so the price gap is meaningful.
QC focus: Have the collar photographed at close range.
Trap: One distant frame at a low price, hiding the fabric entirely.
Fabric weight and how it drapes
T-shirts in this market range from thin promotional-weight cotton to heavy fabrics that hold their shape for years, and the difference is invisible in product photographs. Weight also decides whether a shirt is see-through in daylight, whether it clings, and how it behaves after ten washes. If the listing does not state grams per square metre, ask before ordering rather than inferring from price.
Colour fastness and the first wash
Dark and saturated colours release dye in the first wash, which is normal and not a defect, but it means shirts should not be washed with light colours that day. Wash cold and inside out to slow fading significantly. If a shirt arrives with an uneven shade across the panels, that is a genuine defect worth raising while the parcel is still at the warehouse.
Print quality checks
Ask for a close frame of the print edge, because lifting and cracking always start at the boundary rather than the centre. Screen prints sit thicker and last longer, while direct-to-garment prints feel softer initially and fade faster. A print that looks perfect flat on a table can still crack across the chest after a few washes, so the edge photo is where the truth is.
Ordering this through OrientDig
OrientDig's interface leans towards search and comparison rather than pure link pasting, which helps when you are choosing between similar listings. Once ordered, goods are held and photographed before shipment. Their support channel is the fastest way to resolve a listing ambiguity before the order is placed rather than after.
